SUMMARY: The Corporate Sales Strategist serves as a key liaison between sales representatives, high-value customers, and internal business units, ensuring seamless communication, operational alignment, and exceptional service delivery. In this role, you will support strategic customer initiatives by coordinating across sister divisions and cross-functional partners to identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, and advance the adoption of Rand Whitney's corrugated packaging, digital print, and value-added solutions. Through proactive engagement, analytical insight, and collaborative problem-solving, you will help drive growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the successful implementation of integrated products and services across diverse markets.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary account manager for selected high-volume, high-revenue accounts, ensuring exceptional service, strategic guidance, and strong long-term partnership development.
- Direct cross-functional account teams (Sales, Customer Service, Estimating, Design, and Operations) to prioritize orders, resolve conflicts between customer demand and production constraints, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Participate in key sales and sales-support projects, including RFQ/RFP processes for select bids, new customer transitions, CRM implementation efforts, and other business development initiatives as assigned
- Resolve customer issues promptly through collaboration with the appropriate internal and external departments, ensuring accurate communication, timely follow-up, and effective problem resolution.
- Manage inventory levels and partner closely with production teams to ensure timely, accurate, and complete execution of customer orders
- Coordinate between customers and internal departments to manage quality data, arrange replacement orders, and maintain accurate reporting for management review, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans, identifying and qualifying prospects, building robust sales pipelines, and managing relationships to drive growth across new and existing accounts.
- Pursue cost-saving opportunities by providing strategic recommendations to leadership and delivering value-added solutions for customers, while gathering market feedback and monitoring industry trends to inform continuous improvement.
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
- Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required
- 2-4 years of business, sales, customer service, marketing, product/brand management, or manufacturing/production experience
- Required proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Project management experience
- Corrugated packaging experience preferred
- Must have attention to detail and focused concentration.
- Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently.
- Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow.
- Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness.
