Sales Administrative Assistant Position Purpose:

The Sales Administrative Assistant supports the Kansas City and St. Louis branch Sales and Operations departments by performing a variety of administrative functions that contribute to the efficiency and success of branch operations.

Sales Administrative Assistant Essential Functions:



  • Communicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One Goal
  • Coordinates and manages travel schedules for the sales representatives
  • Assists in organizing and coordinating customer events and sales training sessions
  • Prepares documents (presentations, spreadsheets, memos, proposals, etc.) and reports as needed by the group
  • Manages training records for the sales team
  • Maintains department and sales team goals and objectives
  • Tracks monthly sales results and market share
  • Maintains records and communicates with Distributors on special programs
  • Assists with special projects as needed
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
  • Ensures consistent and reliable on-site attendance


Sales Administrative Assistant Minimum Qualifications:



  • Two (2) years of experience in sales administration or sales support
  • Associate degree or higher preferred
  • Exceptional Interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based applications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
