JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS We are searching for a self-disciplined, highly motivated, and customer service-oriented student to join the Human Resources Office at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State. This role will bea mixture of day-to-day responsibilities, as well as special projects, in a fast-paced, confidential environment. This internship offers a close-up view to the operation of a human resources department and provides opportunities to shadow different areas of human resources. You will:

Students pursuing a degree in Human Resources or Business will be given preference. This is a paid internship located at ARL's main laboratory at the University Park campus; relocation and housing are not provided. This opportunity is eligible for internship credit under Penn State LA 495. Options are available to work up to 40 hours during the summer semester and up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters. ARL's purpose is to research and develop innovative solutions to challenging scientific, engineering, and technology problems in support of the Navy, the Department of Defense (DoD), and the Intel Community (IC).
