Location: Saugerties, NY
Employment Type: Temporary
Industry: Semiconductor Industries
Compensation: $32-$37/hour Depending on experience
Schedule: Mon-Fri (7am-3:30pm)
About the Opportunity:
Join a hands-on manufacturing environment where your leadership directly impacts daily production success. As an Assembly Team Lead, you'll be responsible for guiding shop floor operations, supporting assembly personnel, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output across the production line.

You'll play a key role in maintaining workflow continuity, meeting production goals, and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.
What You'll Do:
* Lead and support daily assembly operations on the shop floor to ensure production targets are met
* Provide direction, coaching, and hands-on support to assembly team members
* Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and help maintain smooth production flow
* Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards
* Assist with training new team members and reinforcing standard operating procedures
* Communicate production needs, updates, and issues with supervisors and cross-functional teams
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality
* Maintain accountability for team performance, organization, and adherence to company policies

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of assembly experience required.
  • 1-3 years of lead or supervisory experience.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and build team morale.
  • Familiarity with Encompix and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and small power tools.
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening skills
