Position Overview

As a Project Manager at JLL, you will support the execution of facility and capital projects within a GxP-regulated environment. Working under the guidance of senior project leadership, you will contribute to project delivery through coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication. Leveraging the Project Delivery Services (PDS) platform, you will help drive projects from initiation through completion while building your expertise in pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities management.

This is a mid-level role reporting to Senior Project Manager/Project Director. Candidates with 15+ years of experience or senior leadership backgrounds may find this role junior to their current level.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationships

  • Support client satisfaction through effective coordination and delivery of Facility Management services.
  • Build working relationships with clients through accountability and consistent service delivery.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with GMP and non-GMP contractual requirements and KPIs.
  • Contribute to quality service delivery aligned with client expectations.

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively within a high-performance team environment.
  • Support JLL's ethical and cultural standards in all interactions.
  • Promote safety culture across all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

Project Delivery & Operations

  • SupportProject Delivery Services (PDS) and GAP projects to ensure facility operations in a GxP environment.
  • Ensure activities and documentation comply with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), quality standards, and SOPs.
  • Assist in developingproject plans and budgets in coordination with facility, project, and construction managers.
  • Supportprocurement, labor coordination, and execution to meet schedule and budget requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain project status reports, financial tracking, and documentation for compliance.
  • Serve as a point of contactfor assigned GAP-related project activities.
  • Assist infeasibility assessments, scope definition, cost estimates, and milestone schedules.
  • Manage RFIs, scope changes, and project documentation following scope freeze.
  • Support compliance with EHS, regulatory requirements, and applicable standards.
  • Monitor on-site work to ensure adherence to schedules and GxP/EHS requirements.
  • Assist indeveloping RFPs and managing vendor/contractor selection and performance.
  • Support deliveryof project phases including planning, design, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
  • Track budgets, review invoices, and assist in managing financial variances.
  • Help implement and track project performance metrics.
  • Contribute to business continuity initiatives and overall site performance.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 5-10 yearsof project management or project coordination experience.
  • Experience in commercial, institutional, or industrial projects (pharmaceutical/biotech/life sciences experience is a plus but not required).
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Ability to managesmall to mid-sized projects(typically$50M-$200K) or support larger initiatives as part of a project team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with GMP-regulated environments or willingness to learn.
  • Experience with CAD systems (AutoCAD, Revit) or project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
  • Understanding of engineering and building systems (mechanical, electrical, structural).
  • Working towardprofessional certification (PMP, LEED AP, or similar) is a plus.

Not Required:

  • Professional registration (PE, RA) is not required for this role.
  • This is not a senior leadership, principal-level, or design-lead position.

Typical Project Scope

  • Projects ranging from$50K to $200Kin value.
  • Tenant improvements, lab fit-outs, building renovations, and small capital projects.
  • Notresponsible for managing entire multi-building campus developments or $100M+ programs.

Work Environment

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, reaching, and accessing equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Site-based rolewith regular presence at client facilities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience 105K-$125K

Estimated compensation for this position:

105,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
