Pay: $90,000+ annually, based on experience

Colonial Manor of Elma is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON), Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our nursing team and support high-quality resident care in our skilled nursing / long-term care facility.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced DON, ADON, RN Supervisor, Nurse Manager, or emerging nurse leader who is ready to take the next step. You'll work closely with the Administrator and leadership team to support staff, improve clinical outcomes, and maintain strong systems for quality care and compliance.

• Support, coach, and develop RNs, LPNs, and CNAs

• Promote high-quality, resident-centered care

• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

• Oversee care planning, documentation, MDS-related processes, and clinical systems

• Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team

• Support quality improvement, survey readiness, and strong resident outcomes

• Active RN license in Iowa or compact state, or ability to obtain Iowa licensure before start

• Nursing experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehab, senior care, or a related setting

• Leadership experience such as DON, ADON, RN Supervisor, Charge Nurse, MDS, or Nurse Manager

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lead, mentor, and hold teams accountable

• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, MDS, care planning, and quality measures preferred
