The Jamar Company is looking for a relationship-driven Service Sales Professional to help grow preventative maintenance opportunities across our regional territory. In this role, you will develop new business, build long-term customer relationships, and help clients identify service solutions for mechanical, roofing, controls, and other facility maintenance needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To successfully perform this role, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Develop and manage a pipeline of preventative maintenance and service agreement opportunities.
  • Prospect and build relationships with new and existing commercial and industrial customers.
  • Conduct in-person customer visits, networking, cold calls/visits, association involvement, and lunch-and-learn presentations.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify leads, evaluate customer needs, and develop service solutions.
  • Coordinate and complete customer site surveys for mechanical, roofing, controls, and related facility systems.
  • Prepare and present professional customer proposals, clearly communicating scope, value, pricing, and next steps.
  • Follow up with customers to answer questions, address concerns, and secure signed agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, customer interactions, proposals, and account activity in CRM systems.
  • Track sales activity, proposals, forecasts, customer visits, and progress toward assigned goals.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and serve as a trusted advisor for their facility maintenance needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
  • Previous experience in sales, account management, business development, customer relationship management, or a related role.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and help develop service-based solutions.
  • Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, opportunities, and priorities.
  • Comfort conducting site visits and working with internal teams to gather information for customer proposals.
  • Experience in mechanical, HVAC, controls, facilities services, building maintenance, construction, or related field, is preferred.

Other Details:

  • This position will office in Duluth, MN and support regional territory.
  • This position will work closely with Mechanical Inspection Sales Leader to align support with priorities.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license along with the willingness and ability to regularly travel.

  • Maintaining CRM activity, customer notes, proposals, and sales progress.
  • Developing strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and local industry organizations.
  • Continuing to grow knowledge of industry trends, technology, policies, and regulations.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected annual compensation range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 plus incentive. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
