Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Assistant Account Manager to support our beauty client's brand. This role is responsible for managing seasonal assortments, maintaining internal systems, and enabling seamless cross-functional execution across merchandising, visual merchandising, and brand initiatives. This position is ideal for a professional with 2-3 years of experience in retail, merchandising, or brand support who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role reports directly to the Account Manager. Key Responsibilities
Assortment Planning & Merchandising Support
- Support the creation and maintenance of seasonal retail assortments and in-store animations across Retail Merchandising and Visual Merchandising
- Ensure assortment accuracy, alignment, and readiness for key launches and updates
Systems & Data Management
- Manage SKU creation and ongoing maintenance across internal systems, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
- Maintain data integrity across merchandising platforms and tools
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with merchandising, visual merchandising, and brand teams to communicate updates, changes, and timelines
- Support cross-functional alignment to ensure smooth execution of brand initiatives
Presentation & Communication
- Develop and maintain presentations, decks, and materials for internal and cross-functional meetings
- Support communication of assortment strategies and key business updates
Reporting & Analysis
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and reporting to support growth-driving initiatives and business decision-making
- Assist in tracking performance and identifying opportunities for optimization
General Brand Support
- Provide day-to-day support to the brand team as needed
- Assist with ongoing initiatives, special projects, and operational tasks
Working Conditions
- Ability to clearly communicate information and ideas to a variety of stakeholders
- Hybrid work environment: 2-3 days onsite per week
- Ability to travel as needed
Qualifications
Experience
- 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in a retail, merchandising, or brand support role
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience with merchant systems or data management tools preferred
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required
