As a Security Officer Grounds Patrol in Millington, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, helping to support authorized access and document site-related events.
• Observe shipping, receiving, and general distribution operations for irregularities, policy violations, and/or hazards, and communicate findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
