As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and point-of-sale surroundings to help to identify suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential theft-related activity.
• Maintain an armed presence in accordance with post orders, Allied Universal guidelines, and applicable regulations while supporting loss prevention efforts and other security-related responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
