Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) isrequired

This is a 20-hour position,locatedwithin MaineHealth Waldo Hospital's Physical & Integrative Medicine at 37 Mortland Road in Searsport as well as the Belfast Weight Management Program at 119 Northport Avenue in Belfast.

This position provides behavioral health treatment to the patients of the practices in collaboration with the medical providers to ensure care isintegratedwhich enhances the patient experience. The practicesvaluesthe partnership with behavioral health clinicians and work collaboratively tooptimizepatient outcomes. Being integrated into a practice reduces stigma for patients, increasing their willingness toparticipatein care.

The clinician's role includes providing screening, assessments, and focused brief treatment to patients of the practices. Treatment structure includes individual, family, and group work.Additionalfunctions of the role include providing curbside consultation to providers, linking patients toadditionalservices and supports, andparticipatingin population health activities that targets the health and wellbeing of specific groups of people. Persons interested in this position must be comfortable working with all patients of the practice, as well as providing treatment to families. Knowledgeof andinterest in treating substance use disorders is preferred.

Your work is enhanced by being part oflargerteam with solid experience in integrated work. Collaborative work with psychiatrists and other integrated clinicians in the MaineHealth system adds to the experience. Summary:
The role of Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Master's degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
2. License/Certifications: Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
3. Experience: At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.

The pay range for this position is $71,448.00to $96,636.80per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
