GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Manager of Business Systems leads a team on Business Analysts dedicated to: first level support, application enhancement and testing for the NA Logistic hub.

He/She will help guiding business owners in process development and work on future implementation related to SAP systems and engineering automation projects.

He/She will guide and support the team in the creation of detailed functional specifications, collaborates with techincal team, provides quality assurance and guides business teams through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and solution implementation.

He/She will play a key role in guaranteeing continuous improvement of the different processes through analysis of recurring issues, troubleshooting and proposal of changes to both processes and systems.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Leads the NA support team during ticket management and resolution assuring business continuity and timely issue resolution.
  • Understands business area processes and operating models translating business needs into detail techincal requirements for logistics distribution and warehouse operations.
  • Conveys and promotes the recommended changes seeking buy-in and alignment across business and technical teams.
  • Directs the business requirements gathering process by collecting, analyzing, documenting, and communicating business needs to ensure the solutions meet business requirements.
  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert for all technical SAP system aspects related to logistics distribution and warehouse operations and acts as the reference person to connect the IT department with the rest of the organization.
  • Perform User Acceptant Test for new enhancements and project implementations ensuring business requirements are fully meet and potential risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Documents work, including change requests, functional specifications and end user documentation (SOP), troubleshooting best practices etc.
  • Assists with developing project estimates, plans and implementation schedules for assigned area in order to effect a variety of business solutions.
  • Understands both the business and IT strategic and tactical goals in order to focus functional team(s) on highest business impact and ensures tasks are adequately defined, planned and completed.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of team management
  • 7+ years Information Systems/Business
  • Experience with SAP ERP and WMS (SAP DWM preferred)
  • Strong Analytical skills (SQL, DB management)
  • Critical thinking to identify opportunities with existing and new business processes
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes.
  • Knows how to challenge the status quo.
  • Experience with collecting requirements and implementation details
  • Experience writing business requirements, functional specifications, wireframes, visual designs, and testing.
  • Clear and practical understanding and experience integrating technical services
  • Highly proficient and knowledgeable in MS Office applications



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Experience with databases, ability to create, execute, and understand SQL queries to assist in data research.
  • Experience developing web tools
  • Experience with RPA and task automation tools (ex. UiPath)
  • Experience utilizing requirements, best practices, and standards in fashion industry
