Position Summary: This role is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization across warehouse and supply chain operations. The position oversees budgeting, inventory and open-to-buy planning, item cost and master data accuracy, and category- and item-level forecasting while measuring performance against results. Through detailed analysis and reporting, the role identifies inventory risks, efficiencies, and opportunities, ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational standards. Key Responsibilities: Budgets and Financial Planning Annual budgets for warehouse expense accounts Inventory and Open to Buy Planning Vendor & Product Forecasting Category and Item level forecasting Measure forecasts against results Data Accuracy Correct attributes in system Accurate forecasts Item cost setup and maintenance Oversee item data master Ensure compliance with organizational standards Inventory health analysis Reporting and analysis to identify inventory efficiencies Identify risks and opportunities within inventory and supply chain Supervisory Responsibilities: Up to 3 direct reports Organizational Competencies: Must be able to perform job responsibilities in a professional manner, consistent with the needs of our internal and external customers and in accordance with all policies, procedures, and manuals. Maintain a good work ethic while taking intentional steps toward the fiscal health of Midwest Veterinary Supply. Qualifications & Required Skills & Competencies (Education, types of experiences, software, years of experience, etc.): Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Merchandising, Finance, or related field 5-7+ years of experience in planning, forecasting, or operations 2+ years of management experience Strong analytical skills with proficiency in planning systems and Excel. Excellent communication and crossfunctional collaboration abilities. Equipment Used: Regularly uses typical office equipment including computer keyboard, terminal and copier.
