• Design, implement, and ship core security capabilities that are reused across services, focusing on correctness, scalability, and longterm maintainability. -
• Own wellscoped problem areas endtoend, translating security requirements into concrete designs, highquality code, and productionready solutions.
• Work across identity, authorization, and data boundaries to deliver leastprivilege and dataprotection improvements that meaningfully reduce realworld risk.
• Collaborate closely with partner engineering teams, integrating with shared platforms and ensuring solutions are usable, adoptable, and reliable in practice.
• Operate effectively in highthroughput, multitenant environments, making sound engineering tradeoffs around performance, safety, and operational readiness.
• Raise the engineering bar through design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship, helping improve quality and clarity within the team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Experience building or operating securitycritical, multitenant services, including working with authentication, authorization, data access, or protection mechanisms in production environments.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex features endtoend-from design through rollout and operational support-while collaborating across multiple engineering teams or shared platforms.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
