Senior Specialty Software Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Specialty Software Engineer for a hybrid position with a Major Financial Institution located in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is part of the Regulatory Risk and Compliance Reporting team, which is dedicated to developing innovative technology solutions to support the regulatory submissions of the Bank. The successful candidate will work on data-intensive applications that support business and regulatory requirements related to FRY 9c, FRY 14M/Q, Single Counterparty Credit Limit FR2590, Basel III, and FDIC 370/371.

Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms
• Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs
• Write, test, and deploy software
• Lead complex problem-solving and provide technical guidance and support to colleagues
• Prepare technical and procedural documentation required for software
• Maintain and debug software applications

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of relevant technical experience
• Hands-on experience with AxiomSL platform and configuration expertise
• Experience working with specific regulations or regulatory reports (e.g., FRY 9c, FRY 14M/Q, FR2590, Basel III, FDIC 370/371)
• Strong experience with SQL/PLSQL
• Proficient in data analysis and data modeling
• Knowledge and experience of data modeling and data warehouse concepts
• Working knowledge of software design patterns and architecture
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Desired skills:

• Experience with R or Python
• General knowledge of banking basics

Pay range: $58.77 - $66.77 per hour
