Who we are looking for:
The Credit Analyst will evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for lending credit with the financial institution to determine the risk involved.

What you'll do:



  • Analyze credit data and financial statements of individuals or businesses to identify the degree of risk involved in lending money or extending credit
  • Compare financial data to similar businesses in terms of liquidity, profitability and credit histories
  • Compile information, complete loan applications, and compose reports detailing the degree of risk involved in the loan or credit request and make recommendations
  • Ensure loan requests are prioritized and deadlines are consistently met
  • Prepare and present credit reports
  • Provide accurate information and sound judgment on the credit worthiness of assigned accounts
  • Ensure all loans are made in adherence with federal, state and local financial regulations
  • Participates in community activities to promote the organization
  • Represent the bank in a professional manner during and outside of office hours
  • Demonstrate flexibility to perform every other duty as assigned


What you'll need to be successful:

Success in this job relies on your time management skills, organization, and positive attitude. In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:



  • Demonstrate ethical character and judgement with attention to respect, commitment, integrity, values and confidential boundaries
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently possessing good effective time management skills and ability to organize and prioritize
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Sensitivity to confidential information is required
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be analytical and have creative thinking
  • Must be approachable and present a positive attitude
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Represent the bank in a professional manner during and outside of office hours
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of progressive credit experience
