As a Maintenance Manager, you will be a hands-on leader responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant assets and critical infrastructure. Partnering with the Plant Manager, you will drive maintenance strategies that maximize uptime, improve asset reliability, and support overall operational performance.



You will lead a high-performing team, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role focuses on proactive preventive and predictive maintenance, while also overseeing the troubleshooting of complex mechanical and electrical systems. You will play a key role in optimizing performance by improving efficiency, enhancing quality, and reducing costs-delivering consistent results aligned with plant objectives.

Key responsibilities (to name a few):

  • Develops and executes maintenance schedules to achieve monthly preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration compliance, while supporting workload priorities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversees diagnostics, monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, repairs, and preventive maintenance for facility infrastructure, manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, HVAC, boilers, and air compressors.
  • Implements and leads predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability, including vibration analysis, thermography, and air leak detection.
  • Utilizes the plant CMMS to schedule PMs, assign resources, manage work orders, and maintain appropriate levels of critical spare parts inventory.
  • Leads and sustains the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
  • Manages maintenance budgets, including labor, parts, outside services, and supplies, with a focus on cost control and reduction.
  • Provides leadership and direction to maintenance personnel, including supervisors and technicians.
  • Ensures all maintenance team members are trained on current procedures and best practices.
  • Promotes a collaborative, accountable work environment while ensuring full compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Engineering or related field preferred).
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience preferred
  • Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM, Oracle, EAM, MP2) for work order and asset management.
  • Proven experience leading Kaizen events, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective actions.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies (PM/PdM).
  • Experience leading union and/or non-union teams.
  • Experience driving Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or similar reliability initiatives.
  • Experience managing capital projects (CAPEX), including equipment installations and upgrades.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including planning, organizing, communication, influencing, data-driven decision-making, and team development.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
