Data Center Technician Opportunity! What You'll Be Doing As a Data Center Technician, you'll be part of a skilled team responsible for upgrading, installing, and supporting RNG devices inside customer data centers. Your day-to-day work will include: * Installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting hardware in live data center environments * Verifying network connectivity by checking ports and validating Layer 1 connections with network engineers (switches, routers, cabling) * Performing break-fix repairs on servers, networking equipment, hard drives, GPUs, and related infrastructure * Preparing, staging, setting up, and executing equipment startups and shutdowns (racks, servers, switches, drives) using documented procedures and checklists * Conducting post-deployment quality checks to ensure proper grounding, labeling, staging, and cabling aligned with safety and deployment standards * Diagnosing issues quickly, identifying root causes, and replacing faulty components with precision * Decommissioning hardware during tech refresh cycles (memory upgrades, OS rebuilds, equipment retirement) * Performing daily safety checks and equipment inspections to meet strict client and site standards * Communicating clearly with clients and internal teams, providing daily project and status updates * Escalating incidents and issues to Datacenter Technician Leads following established procedures This role is ideal if you enjoy hands-on work, fast-paced environments, and solving real technical problems at scale.
