About the role

As a supporting member of the Benefits division marketing team, the Channel Marketing Coordinator assists with distributing marketing collateral and campaigns. These efforts aim to raise awareness of Symetra products and services with distribution partners. The VP and channel marketing manager lead the key duties.

What you will do

Marketing support



  • Work with marketing team leadership to distribute campaigns for key Benefits division initiatives, including email, social media, video, web content, and webinars.
  • Maintain marketing assets to ensure items reflect current messaging, compliance requirements, and state approvals.
  • Guarantee that email distribution lists for both sales channels are accurate and complete, confirming contacts are suitably positioned in Salesforce or other list management platforms.
  • Provide overall support to the marketing team, as needed.


Symetra Sales Team Marketing support



  • Partner with internal collaborators to ensure presentation content is current and approved for compliance.
  • Support presentation delivery, including working with sales representatives on content updates for key meetings.
  • Support Continuing Education (CE) programs, including helping sales representatives communicate upcoming courses and ensuring course presentations are accurate, up-to-date, and approved.
  • Assist in the development and execution of messaging and collateral to support new sales team members or focused regions to increase brand visibility and drive sales growth.
  • Manage and build relationships with internal collaborators to ensure they receive the resources and support necessary to promote Symetra products and services to distribution partners and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal collaborators to ensure the accuracy of any channel marketing-related content on internal sites and provide feedback on required updates.


Exhibitions and gatherings



  • Coordinate and complete successful trade shows and events for both sales channels. This involves managing booth assets, handling the reservations system, and preparing and shipping booth displays and collateral. You will also manage pre- and post-show communications, event advertising, and any sponsorship or logo requests.
  • Build and manage event timelines, tracking all project activities, and ensuring the timely completion of all tasks.

Compensation

Hourly Range: $24.62 - $41.04 plus eligibility for annual bonus program.

Who You Are



  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Professional certifications or designations appropriate and relevant for this role.
  • 1-2 years of cumulative, relevant experience
