We are looking for a Head of Epilepsy and Rare Syndromes (U.S.) who is strategic, commercially strong, and an inspiring leader to join us in our U.S. commercial leadership organization, based in our Atlanta, GA Offices.

About the role

In this senior leadership role, you will lead the U.S. Epilepsy and Rare Syndromes business with full responsibility for strategy, execution, and performance. You will be accountable for driving sustainable growth, profitability, and patient impact across a complex and evolving healthcare ecosystem. Working closely with global and U.S. partners, you will shape the future of our epilepsy and rare syndromes portfolio while ensuring the organization is optimally designed to deliver value for patients.

Who you'll work with

You will lead and collaborate with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Medical, Sales Operations, and Patient Services. As a member of the U.S. Leadership Team, you will partner closely with global colleagues and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, institutions, and patient advocacy communities.

What you'll do

  • Lead the U.S. Epilepsy and Rare Syndromes commercial and crossfunctional strategy
  • Own full profit and loss accountability, including revenue and expense management
  • Drive growth and performance across approved brands and pipeline programs
  • Set strategic and operational plans across Medical, Marketing, Sales, and Patient Services
  • Build and lead senior leadership teams with clear governance and operating rhythm
  • Represent the organization with key external epilepsy and rare disease stakeholders

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 15+ years executive leadership experience in Sales, Marketing and/or Managed Markets in the pharmaceutical industry

Preferred requirements

  • Master's degree
  • 8+ years leading a business with full profit and loss accountability
  • Proven track record driving commercial growth in complex U.S. healthcare markets
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, matrixed, seniorlevel organizations
  • Customer and patient focused, with advanced negotiating and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively present to large U.S.-based audiences, including company-wide town halls and external-facing forums such as podcasts and interviews.
  • Creative "out of the box" innovative thinker, who will challenge the status quo to improve operations and maximize revenues and profits
  • Able to analyze financial data as well as industry data related to sales, market share, price/volume, call activity, etc...
  • Strong internal and external collaboration and networking skills
  • Able to work effectively in a global, matrix environment
  • Comfortable and effective in managing complexity and ambiguity
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills; should be an effective team player who can engender credibility and confidence within the company, customers & patients
  • A polished, professional presence is essential
  • Highly organized with a keen sense of what it takes to get the job done; strong operating/execution skills and a sense of urgency
  • Proven leadership and results-oriented experience in field Sales & Marketing
  • Demonstrated strategic and tactical abilities in developing and successfully implementing a comprehensive strategic & operational plan
  • Knowledge of current health care ecosystem landscape in the U.S, and the changing dynamics of patients, payers, and providers
  • Proactive, high energy, hands-on, make-things-happen executive; must have a positive can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Highest personal values and ethical standards
