The Global Pricing Director will ensure that pricing decisions are data-driven, value-based, consistent, scalable, and aligned with the company's financial objectives, while still enabling commercial agility in local markets. The role sits at the intersection of Finance, Sales, Product Management, Commercial Operations, and IT, and will play a central role in improving realization rates, market and customer communications, margin quality, quote accuracy, pricing transparency, and deal governance. This position is ideal for a senior leader who combines strategic pricing expertise, strong financial acumen, data analytics skills, deep understanding of manufacturing cost structures, and proven experience implementing pricing processes and tools in a complex, global, highly engineered environment. The role can be based remotely in the United States or in Europe. Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead the company'sglobal pricing strategyaligned with growth, profitability, and market positioning objectives. Translate strategic pricing goals into practical frameworks that are adopted consistently across the organization.
Reestablish how customer quotations are built across the organization to ensure consistency, transparency, cross functional alignment, and margin control. Improve controls around quote validity, version control, approval traceability, and auditability.
Drive standardization of pricing-related master data, assumptions, and business rules across platforms such as ERP, CRM, CPQ, BI, and pricing software. Direct IT and finance teams in the design and implementation of on-demand price realization dashboards used as the baseline for price realization computations in financial bridges and other assessments. Drive standards around tracking as quoted margins (initial and final bids for Cost+ business) to enhance understanding of market trends, commercial performance, and to triangulate margins in backlog.
Lead pricing initiatives to improve gross margin and minimize pricing leakage. Act as the global subject matter expert on pricing and commercial profitability by teaching, coaching, driving standards and holding teams accountable for results. Embed skills into the BU structure. Hire supporting team members as needed. Assess intercompany transfer pricing policies. Implement change as agreed with CFO.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree inFinance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent advanced qualification preferred 15+ yearsof relevant experience inpricing, commercial finance, FP&A, sales operations, or product management Significant experience in aglobal manufacturing environment Proven track record designing and implementingpricing governance, standards, and tools Experience with complex quoting environments, including:
Repeating SKU sales of engineered products (orginal equipment and aftermarket) Configured products and solutions Engineered to order (ETO) / Cost+ project-based bids Long-term customer contracts Multi-region pricing structures
Experience leading cross-functional transformation initiatives across global organizations
