Position Summary

The Digital & IT Senior Financial Analyst partners with Digital and IT leaders to provide high-impact financial planning, analysis, and decision support across technology portfolios, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, cloud, and data/analytics. Leading an annual $216M+ budget, this role owns core FP&A processes-budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, cost optimization, and business case evaluation-while ensuring strong financial governance, transparency, and compliance to Parker performance standards. The position enables informed investment decisions through disciplined PO/Capex/AFE controls, targeted Azure spend oversight, and clear reporting, dashboards, and executive review materials.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead end-to-end annual budget, quarterly forecast, and long-range plan cycles for Digital & IT cost centers across global technology spend.
  • Deliver monthly budget-to-actual performance reporting, variance analysis, and actionable recommendations to address risks and optimize spending.
  • Build and maintain financial dashboards and recurring executive review content, highlighting trends, drivers, and opportunities across IT portfolios.
  • Lead financial and operational governance for technology spend, ensuring adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and governance policies.
  • Manage and oversee PO spend and accrual activity (prepaids, taxability) for approximately 650-700 POs annually, ensuring accuracy and timely close-out.
  • Manage Capex planning and AFE tracking, including asset replacement planning and lease management coordination.
  • Conduct comprehensive IT spend analysis, including targeted cloud (Azure) spend reviews and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Facilitate alignment with IT, Finance, Procurement, and other business units for budgets and forecasting.
  • Provide allocation and direct spend summaries to support quarterly Group VP reviews and broader governance forums.
  • Monitor staff plans, including open positions and related impacts to forecast and plan.
  • Deliver ongoing financial training and support to technology stakeholders to drive process consistency, compliance, and informed decision-making.
  • Maintain strong relationships with technology peers ensuring operational excellence in their area of influence.
  • Operates with minimal supervision; leads complex analyses across multiple complex data sets

  • Regularly supports VP-level meetings; translates technical cost drivers not business outcomes.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

  • Experience: Five or more years' experience in Finance with a background in Information Technology preferred

  • Connects IT investments to business outcomes and enterprise priorities.

  • Buids accurate models, challenges assumptions, and drives data-based decisions.

  • Influences stakeholders through insight, trust, and clear recommendations.

  • Delivers results on time, improves processes, and maintains strong controls.

  • Demonstrates a growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Strong desire to learn, adapt to change, embrace challenges and develop process improvements.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities; Presents narratives and executive -ready materials.

  • Adept at learning new financial systems.
