Position Summary

Parker's Digital Technology team is responsible for delivering parker.com as the company's primary external digital experience. We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure the success of the parker.com ecosystem, with a primary focus on Parker's mobile experience and the Digital Products arm of our portfolio.

The ideal candidate brings full stack development experience and a desire to work on exciting applications that enhance our customer experience. You will collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver new and innovative digital solutions that enhance customer experience. This role will also work directly with our external customers to deliver successful solutions.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Act as a key point of contact for the PTS (Parker Tracking System) team and end users to gather requirements and resolve technical issues

  • Perform software development, writing clean, maintainable code in .NET, C#, TypeScript and React based on technical specifications

  • Investigate and resolve production issues, bugs and API failures using tools such as Postman and Swagger

  • Utilize DevOps tools to create tasks and track progress for offshore development teams

  • Maintain a general awareness of the AI landscape to help identify opportunities for integrating AI-driven tools and automation into existing workflows

  • Maintain high-quality technical documentation for code and APIs

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline

  • Professional experience or strong academic foundations in .NET/C# for backend development and TypeScript/React for frontend interfaces
  • Experience using DevOps or other Agile tools to manage tasks, user stories, and technical documentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse teams, including offshore team members
