Job Title: Scientist Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of Extension) Location: 91320, Thousand Oaks, CA Job Details: Preferred Qualifications: PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, cancer biology, or pharmacology. Broad knowledge of molecular and cellular biology with demonstrated independent research eminence through publications Understanding of cellular protein degradation pathways (ubiquitin-proteasome system, endo-lysosome pathway), and/or experience in small molecule or other related areas. Research experience in molecular and cellular techniques, western blotting, quantitative cell-based assay development, cell line engineering, plate based assays, flow cytometry and confocal microscopy. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree OR Masters degree and 2 years of experience OR Bachelors degree and 4 years of experience Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets: Mammalian cell culture Plate based quantitative assays (HiBiT, NanoBiT, CTG, NanoBRET) Molecular Biology techniques Experience with imaging techniquies Cell biology background --- not chemistry Day to Day Responsibilities: Maintain cells Generate stable cell lines Perform cell based assays Data analysis Possible Extension: Yes Interview Process: Phone and in person
