The Research Engineering Assistant supports the Electronics Instructional Labs (EIL) in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago by coordinating technical lab operations, maintaining instructional equipment, and assisting with the development and delivery of hands-on electronics laboratories. The position works closely with faculty, teaching assistants, and students to ensure safe, effective, and modern instructional lab experiences. Duties & Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications Required: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Any one or any combination totaling three (3) years (36 months) from the following categories: A. college course work in engineering, computer science, physical science, or a closely related field as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
B. work experience in laboratory techniques, including coordinating the engineering, installation, testing, and operational phases of the specialized research project(s). Preferred Qualifications:
