Position Summary The Human Resources (HR) Manager will partner with the Director, Human Resources for the Long Beach Region to provide comprehensive HR coverage to support the needs of their client base location(s). Their primary purpose is to lead people and culture initiatives and aide in the development of World Class Leaders bringing best practice HR people leadership skills, knowledge and tools. Their primary client base will include employees, managers, and other HR colleagues. The Manager will provide experienced guidance in the areas of labor management (including Workers Compensation, Unemployment and leave management) workflow process, HRIS systems, organizational structure, recruitment and retention, employee engagement, grievances, training, compensation and employee relations guidance. The manager will have exceptional communication skills and function fairly independently with competence and confidence. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
