Outside Sales Representative - Construction Industry (Hampton Roads) We are seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to support and grow our construction customer base across the Hampton Roads territory. This role is ideal for a relationshipfocused, resultsoriented sales professional who thrives in a fastpaced, fieldbased environment and enjoys being on job sites daily. You will spend most of your time on the road visiting construction sites, building lasting customer relationships, and developing new business while working closely with company leadership. Key Responsibilities * Travel daily throughout the Hampton Roads / Seven Cities area to construction job sites and customer locations * Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, superintendents, project managers, and decisionmakers * Generate new business through cold calling, prospecting, and relationship development within the construction market * Manage and grow an organized book of business, tracking opportunities and followups * Partner closely with VP of Sales, to execute territoryspecific sales strategies * Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities in construction projects and accounts * Represent the company professionally on job sites and at customer meetings Required Skills & Qualifications * 2-3 years of outside sales experience, preferably supporting construction, industrial, or tradefocused customers * Proven experience qualifying accounts, developing relationships, and cold calling * Highly organized with strong timemanagement and followthrough skills * Selfmotivated "gogetter" who exceeds goals and works independently * Comfortable working outdoors and on active construction sites Work Environment & Schedule * Fully fieldbased role - on construction sites and customer locations every day * Typical schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with flexibility for longer days based on job site schedules Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.44 - $28.85/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
