Job Description

Your Mission:


The Global Analytics & Data Products Team is building a best-in-class analytics team in support of Stellantis' new Software Group. As an Engineer within the Analytics Engineering Team, your mission is to work alongside your peers in analytics and data, product management, and software development partners to raise data literacy and put science into decision making.



Responsibilities include:



  • Lead, in partnership with data consumers and our Data Engineering team, the design of our business curated data models to enable reporting of key metrics through single source of truth design
  • Create efficiencies in processing costs and time-to-results for all data visualizations and observational studies in Stellantis through discoverable, functional, and reliable business-curated data models
  • Innovate, develop and evolve resilient ETL automation frameworks to meet the needs of tomorrow's business
  • Proactively identifying instrumentation needs and partnering with developers to ensure implementation
  • Build trusted relationships with the development, product, planning and leadership teams acting as a conduit of knowledge


Top Performers will be able to demonstrate:



  • Comprehensive knowledge of data concepts, including data architecture, operational data stores, Interface processes, Multidimensional modeling, master data management, and data manipulation
  • Expert knowledge and experience with custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
  • Comprehensive experience designing, implementing, and iterating data pipelines using Big Data technologies
  • Experienced working on cross-functional teams and leading efforts to build data services from the ground up
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand complex business problems and provide solutions


Deep product sense, with a solid understanding of user engagement

Requirements

Basic Requirements:



  • BA/BS degree required with a technical focus - e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Math, engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data manipulation role (BI Engineer, ETL developer, analytics engineer, data analyst, data scientist, etc.)
  • Candidate must be familiar with SQL and GITHUB
  • Expert technical skills in developing and maintaining ETL jobs (python,pyspark,SQL, Spark, Scala)
  • Strong experience with job orchestration tooling (databricks, talend, airflow, jenkins, etc.)


Preferred Requirements:



  • Experience in cloud-based data environments (Databricks + AWS a plus)
  • Experience with implementing data quality solutions like SODA is a plus
  • A passion for software development and the automotive industry a plus
