POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Red Peak Technical Services, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opportunity for a Superintendent in San Diego, CA. TheSuperintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the activities of a project site according to blueprints and schedule plans. Their duties include coordinating subcontractors, performing quality control and safety checks, and providing on-site direction when preparing construction sites.



  • Keep track of project progress
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and quality standards
  • Purchase equipment and materials
  • Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors to determine project needs
  • Set performance goals and deadlines
  • Plan construction processes
  • Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget
  • Supervise staff and quality guidelines
  • Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance
  • Keep track of material stock and orders
  • Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
  • Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
  • Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and vendors to complete each project on time.
  • Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as necessary.
  • Ability to write reports and professional correspondence to vendors, government officials, and clients

    • Good reading comprehension for technical documents, such as safety regulations, assembly and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
    • Keen eye to identify non-compliance with regulations or standards and ability to suggest solutions for deficiencies or problems
    • Experience with managing demanding clients and offering creative solutions to meet commitments and requests
    • Ensure that the construction project complies with all safety and building regulations.
    • Conduct an in-depth analysis of the project to come up with the budget and deliverables
    • Liaise with local authorities to obtain licenses and permits for the project




Payrate:$83,200 Annualy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, a technical field, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in related field.
  • Qualified candidate must currently hold and maintain an Active SECRET Security Clearance
  • Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Proven administrative experience
  • Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
  • In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
  • Familiarity with CAD software
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
