Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician Location with zip code: Irvine, CA 92606 Duration: 6 months Payrate : $31/hr. - $45/hr. on w2 without benefits Shift: 1^st shift 5AM- 1:30PM Job Description: Under minimal supervision and within a team environment, responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks of moderate to complex scope primarily focused on CNC machinery, machine shop equipment, and building equipment. This includes specialized work on numerical control (N/C) machines, mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, and supporting production equipment Role & Responsibilities : Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and align CNC machine tools, including diagnosing and repairing numerical control malfunctions to ensure optimal production operation. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of machine shop equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, hydraulic press systems, and related tooling. Remove, repair, relocate, and reinstall machine parts, ensuring precision alignment and operation. Diagnose defects and perform repair and preventive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems related to both machinery and building infrastructure. Construct, install, maintain, repair, and overhaul production test stands, fixtures, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Setup and operate welding equipment (arc and acetylene) as needed to fabricate, repair, or modify machinery components. Fabricate and repair high-pressure tubing, hoses, and fittings for hydraulic and pneumatic applications, adhering to contamination control standards. Assist in planning sequence of operations and recommended methods for complex equipment overhaul and repair, including CNC systems. Perform calibration and operational testing of new or rebuilt CNC and machine shop equipment after installation. Utilize precision measurement and test equipment to ensure machine and equipment specifications are met. Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, mechanical, and computerized machine control systems to maintain proper operation. Required Skills: Five years related maintenance experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities. May require proficiency with pump and valve overhaul procedures, especially aerospace associated equipment. Ability to work from blueprints and sketches. May require knowledge of general hydraulics technology, i.e. pumps, cylinders, accumulators, filters, & piping; tube bending, piping fabrication for hydraulic and pneumatic applications. (Extensive experience with hydraulics. Pumps, motors, hydraulic systems, tubing & plumbing, valves)
