CAMPUS SECURITY OFFICER (Mount Vernon, IA)

We are looking for a Full-Time Security Officer in Mount Vernon, Iowa!

Starting Pay: $17.00 an hour. (Can go up with good performance)

Hours: (MAY-AUGUST/summer hours) Wednesday - Sunday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (AUGUST-MAY/school hours) Sunday - Tuesday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM / Wednesday & Thursday 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

***Overtime may be required for events or shift coverage***

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to pass Iowa Department of Public Safety/FBI Background check from age of 18 to current.
• Must be able to pass company motor vehicle records check.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment 5-panel drug screen.
• Must be able to interact with college staff, visitors, and students in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
• Must be able to remain calm in non-emergency and emergency situations.
• Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time.

Candidates will be required to interview in person with Per Mar in Cedar Rapids, IA and the client in Mount Vernon, IA before being accepted. No exceptions.
