What You'll Do:
  • Electromechanical device sub-assembly.
  • SMT and through-hole soldering.
  • Fabricate cable and wire assemblies, sub-assemblies.
  • Record and maintain all manufacturing device documentation.
  • Participate in cross training activities.
  • Utilize hand tools, soldering iron and measurement instruments to support assembly operation.
  • Maintain the highest quality workmanship and productivity.
  • Work cross departmentally to ensure rapid issue resolution.
  • Maintain assembly equipment and a clean organized work area.
  • Assemblers are responsible for meticulously recording and maintaining all manufacturing device documentation to ensure traceability and compliance.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience with assembling/soldering electronic device.
What Sets You Apart:
  • The ideal candidate should possess the ability to interpret mechanical drawings and follow written procedures accurately.
  • Proficiency in soldering techniques, adherence to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols, and a basic understanding of complex medical device quality requirements are vital to this position.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to assemble simple mechanical assemblies.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and verbal direction from supervisor.
  • Proficient in soldering techniques in accordance with IPC-610 or equivalent.
  • Proper working knowledge and understanding of ESD.
  • Basic understanding and working knowledge of complex medical device quality requirements.
  • Technical certification in electronics assembly such as J-STD and IPC-610.
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering techniques.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively.
  • Willingness to participate in cross-training activities to expand skillset and versatility in assembly operations.
