Acara Solutions is seeking a General/District Manager to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity available in St. Louis, MO.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this role is responsible for driving operational excellence, leading a high-performing team, and delivering strong top- and bottom-line results.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead safety, culture, and overall performance within the market
  • Own full P&L, including staffing, structure, and operational strategy
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and execution of business operations
  • Drive financial performance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with corporate leadership on training and talent development
  • Collaborate with other General Managers and leadership teams to drive results
  • Maintain close alignment with the VP of Operations
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering accountability

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 5 years minimum leadership experience in a mobile or field service-based environment
  • 5 years minimum experience managing teams
  • 5 years minimum experience in operations or service-based environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with full P&L ownership
  • Experience in project and change management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Experience driving operational performance and continuous improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing field service operations (dispatch, routing, scheduling)
  • Background in a small-to-mid-sized service business
  • Familiarity with CRM or field service platforms (Salesforce, ServiceTitan, or similar)
  • Ability to lead teams, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment
