Service Technician

Job Summary

The Service Technician role provides advanced mechanical service and product repair support to ensure the reliable operation of customer equipment. This position focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and related mechanical components, including pumps, cylinders, valves, motors, and gearboxes. Technicians work in both shop and field environments to deliver high-quality, timely repairs that keep industrial systems operating efficiently. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on troubleshooting ability, and the capability to work with a variety of hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and service hydraulic systems and mechanical equipment
• Repair hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, and related components
• Perform mechanical repairs on gearboxes and other industrial equipment
• Read and interpret technical schematics and hydraulic diagrams
• Perform welding, tube bending, and fabrication tasks as needed
• Conduct repair work in both shop and field service environments
• Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality completion of all repairs
• Maintain safe work practices and follow all operational procedures
• Support operational needs including overtime and weekend work as required

Job Requirements

• Experience repairing hydraulic pumps, cylinders, and mechanical gearboxes
• Strong mechanical aptitude and high level of technical problem-solving ability
• Experience with hydraulic troubleshooting and schematic reading
• Welding experience required
• Machinist or fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to perform tube bending and related mechanical repair tasks
• Experience in shop and/or field service environments
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and results-driven mindset
