ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Assist in the assembly, alignment, and inspection of microfluidic flow cells and related hardware components.
  • Perform mechanical and fluidic integrity tests following established protocols and document results accurately.
  • Support design improvements by identifying process issues and proposing practical solutions under supervision.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize assembly workflows and tooling setups.
  • Maintain cleanroom or lab work area according to safety and contamination control standards.
  • Compile test data, prepare technical summaries, and participate in daily reviews of experimental outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Minimum age of 18 years and commitment to a full internship term.
  • Good academic standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Currently enrolled fulltime in a Bachelor's or Master's program at an accredited U.S. university OR graduating in Spring 2026 with a major in accounting or a related field.
  • Ability to complete an 8-10 weeks internship between June and August.
  • Ability to work on site for the duration of the internship.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
  • A teamoriented mindset, collaborative work style, and ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
