Scope:

The Shipping and Receiving Associate - The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in inventory, and maintaining organized shipping and receiving records. This role supports warehouse operations by verifying deliveries, preparing shipments, and coordinating with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare items for shipment by assembling, addressing, stamping, packaging and shipping merchandise or material.

  • Arrange the transportation of products.

  • Billing of product.

  • Maintains accurate records for overstock and accurate shipping logs for production control, and track packages.

  • Organize packages that need to have special courier pickup.

  • Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.

  • Handling paperwork and performing day-to-day administrative tasks.

  • Order packing supplies.

  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits

  • Communicate regularly with managers and supervisors on billing question and any delay of shipment.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Communicates to supervisor's safety hazards.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must have good computer skills including data entry. Experience with shipping software or inventory systems preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Able to lift to 40lbs, and exercise extreme physical mobility.

  • Must have good English and mathematical skills.

  • Must have the ability to read, write and communicate clearly, as well as good interpersonal skills.

  • Must have good reading vision.

  • Ability to work up to 9 hours a day, 5 days a week, available for overtime and must be flexible with hours.

  • Using one's own hands and arms in handling, installing, forming, positioning, and moving materials, or in manipulating things, including the use of keyboards.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

  • Basic problem-solving skills and ability to resolve shipment discrepancies

Education and Experience:

Education:

  • High School Diploma required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience working in shipping department desired.

  • Knowledge of inventory control processes

  • Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, USPS, or other shipping systems

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
