You will be responsible for performing advanced level repair, calibration, and preventative maintenance for semiconductor equipment in the Diffusion area. You must demonstrate ability to take a leadership role in evaluating and providing maintenance requirements to ensure maximum availability of production equipment. In this role you will interface with Production and Engineers to identify and resolve process-related issues and provide technical guidance to other lower-level technicians and determine methods and procedures for new assignments. You may be informal team leader, and lead/direct the activities of the area shift pass-downs, and set priorities based on production requirements for the rest of the team. You must be able to work on difficult tasks as an independent contributor and in a team environment.

Shift: Sunday - Tuesday and every other Saturday 5:30pm - 5:30am

• You can perform complex machinery problem solving of semiconductor equipment in production environment for CMP area and participate on problem solving teams.
• You have the ability to work under the direction of an Equipment Engineer and/or Engineering Manager to plan and execute improvement project initiatives.
• You are able to develop his/her own resources to solve problems and provides imaginative solutions to a broad range of difficult problems producing significant results.
• You can analyze recurring equipment failures and suggest innovative technical solutions, or new work methods.
• You can lead and direct the activities to develop/improve existing semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems.
• You can collect equipment-specific performance data working with Engineering to develop and implement solutions to equipment-specific failures based on collected Pareto data, and tool deficiencies.
• You can provide technical equipment-specific training to lower-level technicians.
• You can interface and direct vendor support to resolve equipment related failures.
• You have the ability to perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair malfunctioning equipment to component level (diagnostic to component level), as needed.
• You have the ability to take a lead role in resolving process issues and participate in yield investigations.
• You can use proper judgment is required in resolving problems and carrying out assignment and making recommendations.
• You can participate and lead/direct ERT/Safety events, during the absence of supervision.
• You can ensure all required parts are on order and follow up as required to minimize equipment MTTR.
• You must be able to work independently with minimal support.
• You can be viewed as a technical expert in more than one Production tool type.

• Associate of Science degree with an emphasis in Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years technical experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Must have demonstrated working knowledge of advanced electro-mechanical systems operations and maintenance and be able to work with minimal or no assistance.
• Must have strong knowledge of electronic theory, vacuum and pneumatics theory, principles of electrical circuits, motor control systems and test procedures and the ability to troubleshoot to component level.
• Direct working experience with at least one of the listed toolsets is required: AMAT Mirra Mesa and SpeedFam Auriga platforms.
• OnTrak systems experience is also desirable.

Compensation:$28.00/hr - $45.00/hr
