Description and Requirements

About the Role

We are looking for a curious, hands-on AI Experience & Research Intern to help shape the next generation of AI-driven experiences for Qira. This role is ideal for someone passionate about artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and user-centric innovation.

As an intern, you will explore new AI capabilities, prototype experiences, and conduct structured research to inform the evolution of Qira's AI strategy and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research emerging AI trends, tools, and technologies relevant to Qira's vision

  • Identify and evaluate new AI experience opportunities (LLMs, multimodal AI, agents, personalization, automation, etc.)

  • Benchmark competitive AI products and summarize insights into actionable recommendations

  • Develop concept notes, use-case frameworks, and user journey ideas for new AI experiences

  • Support rapid prototyping and experimentation with AI tools and APIs

  • Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to refine AI-driven features

  • Prepare clear documentation, presentations, and research summaries

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering, Design, Business, or related field

  • Strong interest in AI, Generative AI, and emerging technologies

  • Familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, or other AI platforms

  • Basic understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, or AI workflows

  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills

  • Ability to convert research into clear insights and recommendations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter with curiosity and experimentation mindset

Good to Have

  • Experience with Python or prototyping tools

  • Experience conducting user research or competitive benchmarking

  • Familiarity with no-code/low-code AI tools

  • Portfolio, GitHub, or documented AI experiments

The salary range budgeted for this position is $30 - $34 per hour and is based on years of educational experience.
