As a Security Officer - Hospital Perimeter Rover in Van Nuys, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting using site technology. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification of appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior areas and the exterior perimeter, including parking areas, entrances, and common spaces; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit in accordance with site policies, including visitor guidance and assistance with directions and/or wayfinding.
• Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and unusual activity, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
