As a Dispatch Officer at a financial institution location, you will be the communication hub for security-related operations, coordinating officer activity, monitoring alarms and cameras, documenting incidents, and supporting timely responses. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.
  • Operate the dispatch function by monitoring alarms, cameras, access control alerts, and radio and/or telephone traffic, and routing incidents to on-site personnel according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken, and escalating concerns to site leadership as needed.
  • Complete required logs and reports such as incident reports, alarm activity logs, visitor and/or contractor activity records, and shift turnover notes with accurate, timely details.
  • Conduct and/or direct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, and track patrol activity and findings for follow-up as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
