Job Description




As a Security Officer Flex Armed Driver Rover in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and incidents, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Perform armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes, documenting observations according to post orders.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
  • Control access at designated points by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete timely security-related reports and logs, including incident documentation, patrol activity, and equipment checks, and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
