Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will document observations, respond to resident concerns, and communicate clearly with on-site partners. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community and along the perimeter, including amenity areas, parking areas, and common spaces as required by post orders.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and/or property conditions, and report observations to the appropriate parties in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance from emergency services and/or management when needed.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol activity reports, incident reports, and other required logs, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisory experience is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
