Job Description




As a Security Officer - Hospital Pharmacy Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear, respectful communication. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and support a people-first environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical facility alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter grounds, monitoring for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited behavior.
  • Monitor access points and visitor traffic as assigned, assisting with wayfinding and verifying authorization where required, while maintaining courteous, professional communication.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs for security-related activities, incidents, patrol observations, and policy violations, and communicate updates to supervision and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
