Job Description

REPORTING TO/DEPARTMENT:

Reports to the VP of Sales

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Secure qualified meetings/presentations with radiation oncology departments, including physics, radiation oncologists, administrators and executive leadership.
  • Drive prospecting activity via phone, email, digital outreach and targeted in-person efforts.
  • Develop working knowledge of both Accuray platforms, including technical capabilities and specifications as well as clinical applications, value propositions and competitive positioning.
  • Align meetings with customer needs, i.e. new system, replacement, expansion or upgrade.
  • Coordinate with Regional Sales Director and Clinical Sales Director to ensure alignment and to ensure appropriate technical and clinical support for meetings.
  • Partner and plan with RSD's and CSD's to execute on territory plan.
  • Support preparation and follow up for customer meetings, site visits and presentations.
  • Track appointment setting activity and follow up actions in CRM.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, appointments and outcomes within CRM.
  • Represent Accuray in a professional manner consistent with company values and healthcare guidelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred or Desired:

  • Experience in medical device or hospital based sales
  • Exposure to hospital systems, cancer centers
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)

Required:

  • Ability to move laterally and horizontally within the customers organization
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Attention to details
  • Clear track record of successful sales results
  • Ability to manage numerous tasks and projects at one time
  • Ability to take responsibility and achieves results
