As a Security Officer - Entry Control in Lexington, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support visitor check-in, and document security-related activity while maintaining a visible presence. You will communicate clearly with employees, drivers, and guests, respond to concerns, and escalate issues as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access at gates, entrances, and/or guard stations by checking identification, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, verifying appointments, and maintaining accurate entry and exit logs.
• Screen and direct inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, including delivery and pickup trucks, by confirming shipping and receiving information, coordinating with onsite contacts, and reporting irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating concerns according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report maintenance and/or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
