As a Security Officer - Credential Checkpoint in Englewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vehicle access, and conduct routine patrols of assigned areas. You will stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents while providing clear communication and customer service to drivers, employees, and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to client staff, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, reviewing visitor and contractor requests, issuing credentials, and maintaining sign-in and sign-out activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor truck, trailer, and delivery activity at gates and loading areas by checking shipping documentation as directed, coordinating with site contacts, and reporting unusual or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate site and Allied Universal contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, yard, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
