Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in CHARLOTTE, NC. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity. In this role, you will consult on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will analyze and resolve multifaceted technical challenges using extensive experience in Python, backend API development, and automation. You will work with technologies such as Django, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Apigee to deliver robust solutions. Responsibilities: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel Requirements: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education 5+ years of experience developing with Python Experience with backend REST API development Experience with automation using Python and Ansible Proficiency with Django and Kubernetes Experience with API gateways such as Apigee Knowledge of Network Load Balancing Experience with GitHub Pay range: $70.00 - $79.00 per Hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
