Description This is an 8 month contract through 12/11/2026. This person can sit in the Columbus, Dallas, or Pittsburgh markets. Required Skills 3-6 years of experience in data engineering or data integration, with strong proficiency in Python and advanced SQL. Handson experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines (Airflow, ADF, Databricks, Spark, Kafka) and designing optimized data models. Working knowledge of data catalogs, metadata, and lineage concepts (Alation preferred; Collibra/Purview acceptable).Experience integrating REST APIs and automating metadata ingestion into catalog platforms. Demonstrated use of Generative AI or LLMassisted development (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, CodeWhisperer) to accelerate engineering tasks and improve development efficiency. Preferred (Not Mandatory) Experience with Alation Compose, lineage curation, and Dataflow/Lineage APIs. Familiarity with Snowflake or other MPP architectures and streaming technologies (Kafka/Spark).Understanding of governance frameworks such as DCAM or DMBOK and how they tie into catalog workflows. Exposure to prompt engineering techniques and safe, efficient LLMdriven development practices.
