This role is responsible for patient registration within a hospital setting, specifically supporting patients who are arriving for CPAP fittings. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, healthcare experience, and proficiency in insurance verification and EMR systems (Brightree preferred). This position plays a key part in ensuring patients receive a smooth, accurate, and supportive registration experience. Key Responsibilities * Perform patient registration for individuals arriving for CPAP appointments, ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service. * Support process improvement initiatives by assisting with verification, workflow optimization, and data analysis. * Develop and maintain uptodate knowledge of all products and services offered. * Review and interpret payer guidelines and clinical documentation to determine qualification, compliance, and equipment eligibility. * Complete insurance verification to determine patient eligibility, coverage levels, coinsurance, and deductibles. * Review and validate all required documentation for accuracy prior to processing. * Accurately process, verify, and submit documentation as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment. * Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office. * Comfortable learning new technologies and understanding data flow across systems. * Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance processes (preferred). * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Flexible, patient, accountable, and proactive-able to adapt to changing needs.
