Junior-Level Systems Architect

We are seeking a Junior Systems Architect to help design and develop technology solutions that support complex application environments and enterprise initiatives. In this role, you will contribute to the architecture of applications, APIs, data services, platform services, cloud services, and infrastructure services to meet user requirements while aligning with strategic goals and the Enterprise Architecture.

This position is ideal for early-career professionals who want to grow their architecture skills while working on modern systems and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and document solution architectures, ensuring traceability to Enterprise Architecture and enterprise requirements.

• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and operational problems to automate or improve existing systems.

• Evaluate system capabilities, workflows, and scheduling constraints to identify improvement opportunities.

• Recommend and develop updates to solution architecture designs based on requirements analysis and emerging technologies.

Location: This position is fully onsite in Chantilly, VA

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, or 4 additional years of relevant Systems Architect experience in lieu of a degree.

• 0-6 years of architecture-related experience in government or industry environments.

• TS/SCI clearance, with ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts, processes, tools, and languages.
